FYI, MyQ has a pretty bad reputation of breaking often on it's own, and/or breaking if you integrate with HomeAssistant.

Guess it is a hit and miss thing. I got lucky then...the MyQ setup I have, has been working for 3 years. Mind you, it is stand alone and I only control it using the MyQ app...

Both the remote controller and the door sensor has been working fine. I had to replace the battery in the door sensor...but that's all I needed to do with it the past 3 years.

I'm using the original Myq gateway and it works flawless with Samsung Smartthings.

Does anyone know if this add on works with the newer G0402 hub? That's the white version

Thanks I did see this but am working on the assumption that this addon was created prior to the newer hub and therefore the newer hub is not listed here.

The new white addon is backward compatible with the G0301 so I'm hoping they are essentially the same.

I guess you can confirm directly with Chamberlain. Unsure how quickly they would reply?!?!

I have these sensors and they give quite a bit of false alarm of the door is open even when is closed especially with extreme temperatures. I put a camera in my garage so i can verify did i really left the doors opened....

This is what the online support said but at $10 I'll give it a shot and try it out once I get the hub too (sorry for the screen grab quality)

So has anyone been able to confirm whether the 302 sensors (this one for $9.97) will work with the new generation of hubs (MYQ-G0401)?

If you’re using Home Assistant, why not build your own?
