yes it connects to a TV (requires a mini hdmi to hdmi cable), you can also purchase controllers for it

Metal Slug 2 and 3, as well as many of the KOF games are also available for free with Twitch Prime (now amazon prime gaming... but it's still twitch prime to me!!)

Just remember, these have horrible mushy controls and have improper scaling when hooked up to a tv.

I have the international version - got it for $40 US a while back but with shipping this isn't much more than I paid.

Joystick is a bit meh but otherwise it's a pretty cool little unit.

This is novelty only. The controllers suck (analog sticks) plus the in-built joystick is also analog, not digital not to mention the screwed up button layout. I paid $75US and I still feel ripped off (unlike the Sega arcade mini , that one feels like Sega spent time and effort).

Note mine still has no estimated ship date yet. Apparently they will email when it’s ready to ship. Others have also reported waiting weeks with no shipping update..
