most likely you got the expired batch..make sure to check the expiration dates on there products

I do like the Carnation "rich and creamy" hot choco, but personally, I think these "chocolate bar" flavours are HORRID. Instead of tasting like their namesakes, they taste like disappointment. : (

I think you can always get this at a lower price from Costco, Costco online is at the same price as Amazon, in-store should be around $10
