[Amazon.ca] New Echo (3rd Gen) All Time Low at $69.99 + $5 for LIFX Smart Wifi Bulb

For those waiting for the Echo to go on sale again (from July), this is it. Based on triple hump, the Amazon Echo 3rd Gen is at an all time low again at $69.99 (not including Prime Day / Lightning deals). And you can add a LIFX Wi-fi Smart Bulb for only $5.

Who is in for one?

Update: Echo Dot 3rd gen ($34.99) and even the Sandstone with clock version ($39.99) is on sale too.

If you pick up the Echo + bulb for $5 more, AND Amazon ships out at different times which means they will generate separate invoices, you will see Echo Dot at a much lower price. The bulb on the other invoice will be almost full price (just shy of $20) just in case this is important to anyone. Just in case the bulb is a dud and you need to return it ;) And as someone said, you may not be able to return the bulb individually even though it may be invoiced separately. No one will know for sure until someone does decide $5 is not a good deal for this bulb.

Sandstone with clock is indeed on sale at $39.99. The clock feature is very useful actually. Even shows temperature when you ask lol. How many did you pick up?

Don't count on that refund working that way. You'll get $5 back, not $20.

If you have a sound system or even a sound bar, connecting the little echo to it will sound better than, and save you buying the standalone bigger one. The bar just needs to be on all the time.

Price is good, but the sound is extremely poor as a speaker for music, regardless what the reviews said.

Have all the echos I need. There is a slight chance I will add one more dot down the road, but that would have to be back to or below the 29.99 that tends to be the low watermark on those.

Good price for the normal echo, but a dot in the bedroom and a spot in the kitchen, and I can ask alexa stuff from most places in the house. And if I was really a sound quality stickler id probably be all the way up at sonos.

They have the echo input if that's all you want to do. Seems out of stock on amazon right now, but if you don't want the speaker itself, makes more sense than getting the little speaker. And usually a bit cheaper too,
