I have this headset. Great price. Its biggest benefit is its versatility. It works on every gaming console, PC, and has bluetooth connectivity so you can use it on your phone or anything else as well. Biggest point to that is you can have its 2.4 GHz connection active at the same time as a bluetooth connection so you can, say, talk on the phone and play games (with audio!) at the same time. Very helpful if you have people in your life who like talking on the phone for hours. You can use it with a wire too if you feel like it.

It also has a removable battery (and comes with an extra, and charger for it) so you never have to sit there with the headset plugged it. It also doesn't look like a gaming headset so you can use it outside in public (remember - bluetooth) without the embarrassment.

There are other high-end gaming headsets which have better audio, or better microphones, or non gaming headsets which have better ANC, but when I was looking they have downsides like weight, much worse connectivity, and stuff like that, so I bought this. No regrets.

Saw this last night and ordered them as I have had my eye on it for a while. For those unaware the Xbox version works on all three (Xbox/PS5/PC) where the PC or PS versions only work on two (PS5/PC). Those 2 are identical except for the box.

This "Xbox version" is the one to get if you are looking for these in particular.

I ordered it as soon as I saw it, however once I completed the checkout, I noticed there was one from Amazon Warehouse in "Very Good" condition for $188.49.

So I grabbed those and refunded the others.

While I don't recommend buying used headsets for hygiene reasons, I had already planned on buying the aftermarket cooled earpads which will solve that issue.

90% of the time I buy from Warehouse Deals the items are brand new and the box is messed up, and the description here is the same, so hoping for the same situation. If not I will just return them and buy new. Willing to risk it to save an addition $100

I have the SteelSeries Arctic 7X and it blows every headset I've ever had out of the water. Unfortunately after years of wear and tear, and maybe a little abuse, the left headphone has started cutting out, but if I tap it a few times the sound starts working again.

I'll keep using it for the time being, maybe in a year or so I'll spring for this (OP) headset. Will 100% be buying another SteelSeries headset, price is definitely worth it.

Edit: Looks like the 7x is still available for around $190, if the $280 price tag is too hard to swallow.

Hmm I just bought used-very good Audeze Penrose X‘s for 250. Should I return them and buy these brand new?

Has anybody tried these and the Sony Inzone H7/H9? I'm a bit inbetween those and the planar magnetic Pulse Elites for my PS5 headset.

I do have a PC to optimize the EQ for the Inzone if I have to.

Honestly, I bought these earlier this year for work and ended up returning them for a second pair of Nova 7Xs.

They have some extra niceties, like the removable batteries, but there are also some downsides like the transmitter being way less portable. Personally for me, it came down to the ANC / sound quality difference not being a big enough difference to justify the cost over the Nova 7Xs. Just like the 7Xs, they were great for most things but I still felt myself reaching for my Sony headphones when I wanted great music quality.

The little base station that is plugged in has a slot for the removable battery on the side (comes with 2 battery packs) so you can hot swap when it starts beeping. It’s very convenient to never have to think about charging or using the wire when it dies.

Nice find. I have some cooling gel pads from wicked cushions. It's a gimmick that lasts about 10 seconds, but they are still more comfortable overall.

I've been using this headset for over a year, and it's been fantastic. This model (xbox version) works seamlessly with Xbox, PC, PS, and Bluetooth devices. I particularly appreciate the simultaneous audio feature, which lets me listen to two devices at once. The dual battery system is incredibly convenient, ensuring the headset is always ready to go. Sound quality is excellent across all types of games, including FPS. Comfortability is fine and the headset itself is well built. Microphone is fine. While I've encountered occasional issues with the Sonar software, a quick restart usually resolves them and I do appreciate the high level of sound customizability Sonar offers. This is a top tier wireless gaming headset and I would be inclined to highly recommend at the price listed in this post.
