How is Pikmin 3 still $55 after being released on the Wii U in 2013... Criminal.

I hope the Steam Deck gives them some real competition and the consumer benefits.

I've only pre-ordered the new switch, but picked up mario, luigi and link's awakening. Finally time to upgrade from the Wii U.

Pikmin games are "killer apps" for me: pretty much I buy a Nintendo console to play Pikmin, then let the thing sit in the corner, waiting for when I want to play Pikmin again.

Super Mario Galaxy was pretty good though.
There is no god. But it still feels good to be kind to people, animals, and the environment, so keep doing that.

Just wonder
which one is better? this deal or shopper's 20x point?
this deal
54.95+tax = 62.09

shoppers (is it correct?)
tax: 79*0.13=10.27
price: 79
point value: 79*0.33=26.07
around total 63

I can use points on bonus redeem day; however, the price in shoppers is higher for most items.

Agreed, however i think Nintendo has a bigger quantity of "White Whales" then any other platform. Meaning they can just put out whatever they want for whatever price and certain consumers will buy it and defend it. I do hope this signals a change like in the Wii Era where Nintendo actually had to try.

only really worth it if there's something you actually want to redeem

The real problem are the people who defend every stupid thing Nintendo does. I mean I get that they’re fans of Nintendo’s products, just as I am, however they completely overlook and deny the fact that Nintendo gives consumers the short end of the stick in terms of their pricing and lacklustre hardware. That’s a big reason as to why Nintendo remains complacent.

Comment about Link's Awakening: I was reading some reviews/watching some videos and man, the frame rate is an absolute atrocity. From 60 to 30 to 60 almost always, I can only imagine how jarring it is (unless the videos are blowing it out of proportion).

No clue how Nintendo gets away with some half-baked releases (yes, I know the fan base eats it up...) and then you have absolute gems.
