So don't mean to be a wet blanket, but isn't this game ~$26 on nintendo eshop (and i think it's been on sale)? Not saying it isn't worth the extra few bucks for physical copy, but I don't think it's a $55 game...

It's a remaster of a Sega game from the 80s. And yeah, it already came out on a bunch of systems before the Switch.

Yeah. You can still get it digital from the eShop for less than what the deal price was here. I have been slightly interested in getting this for a while, getting it physical for about the same as the digital price pushed me into it.

Now just waiting for a deal on physical darkest dungeon and axiom verge.

I already got darkest dungeon for like $5 on Steam but I find I'm not playing it, Switch is way better for me when it comes to actually playing these indie games.

I have to agree - so many games I bought and never played on PC that I'm finding I'm paying more for and actually playing on Switch. There's just something about Nintendo consoles...

Maybe the psychological need to justify paying 10 times as much for the same game compels you to sit down and play it? Just a thought.

No, it's that I can play it handheld wherever and it is seamless to pick up, play for x minutes in between other things and just plop it down in an instant to resume later.

Playing the same game on PC requires a much more deliberate mindset. Often it just doesn't seem worth it to get going in a game on my PCs unless I plan on having a good chunk of time set aside. It just flows easier on switch.

Darn, missed it. It's weird being on vacation and not checking RFD daily in the morning! Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes
