Pros
Extremely solid build quality
Cable trenches for easy cable management
Two retail-grade fans included
NZXT CAM V2 module built-in
Dust filters on all intake openings
Great use of steel for the shroud as part of the side
How the windowed and solid panel are embedded into the chassis is nice
One solid steel piece running along the front and top of the case
Two built-in RGB strips
Excellent out of the box cable routing
Solid connector for your case power/reset/LED
Cool combo audio port + adapter cable
Solid block I/O connector a great touch
USB 3.1 ports are purple, which is a nice touch

Cons
3.5" hard-drive cage requires removal to be filled, using nothing but screws
2.5" drive trays no longer tool-less like in the H500i
Motherboard a pretty tight fit
Four SSD trays would have been nice

NZXT H510i review: Verdict

The biggest issue with this case, then, isn’t an overpriced accessory hub, but a failure to improve on what was already a middling case. The H510 is closer in price to what we’d consider paying, but if you want a straightforward mid-tower with some RGB flair, the Cooler Master K500 is a better deal than both.

Pros
Useful features
Clean, sharp design

Cons
Low standard build quality
Some design and functional flaws

The "i" in the moniker is supposed to signal intelligence, but results in anything but, because NZXT Cam software is a steaming pile of garbage and can definitely rival Razer Synapse on worst driver support from a boutique manufacturer.

Thankfully, you can just choose not to use these "features" in your build.

Check Gamers Nexus for a good review of this case.

The i is completely useless. Just get the normal H500 for the same thing but with less bloatware.

I did a transplant into the H510i last week. Picked up the black & red from Amazon for $100. Turned out great! The cam software doesn't bother me in the least and I benefit from turnkey RGB. I would definately purchase again.

Didn’t Gamers Nexus also have issues with airflow in this case?

People are complaining about the "i" version of this case, yet thanks to the sale, it's currently cheaper than the non-i version... So wouldn't this still be a decent deal? I thought NZXT was always a good case brand.
I want to build two computers, a high-end one that I'd plan to put in the 710i and a mid-end one that i would put in this 510i. Should I start to reconsider?

I am not sure I would call these high end cases. For what I paid, I am happy, but my build is 3300x + RX 5600xt. I maybe have $900 into it. For $100, I don't think you can do much better atm. Nexus gamers are never happy with any case, as far as I can tell.

For those considering this case for a gaming build, I have a 3600 and a 2080 super in this case with just the default 2 fans, my temps are around 60-70c when gaming on ultra/high settings at 3440x1440 with ambient temps of around 24-26c. Idle around 30-40, depending on how toasty my room is.

Did a build for my son in this case this week, was very straightforward, seems decent enough to me unless you're a connoisseur!

Ahh, I just thought it'd be cool to have 2 matching cases, like a big brother and smaller brother combo... Would you say Fractal Design or Thermaltake is a better choice?
