I am in no hurry.

Thanks OP. Not even worth wasting time fixing a broken bulb when it costs $20 for a new one!

I think Walmart @ Dufferin had these on sale as well for $19. I passed by them yesterday but didn't get a good look. They are downstairs right by the entrance to get in. It's definitely a toaster oven for $19, just not sure of the brand.

Ok price, limited functionality I find. Too small to be overly useful, and still takes up a decent amount of counter space.

I've had this model for at least 5+ years. Bought one to eventually replace it. Thanks!

Just FYI: this is not a convection oven. It doesn't have a fan to circulate the air, like convection ovens do.

Doesn't heating lead to natural convection? I wonder if it matters in such a small unit.

Bought.

Now who do I gift this to, or cancel outright.

I have an older model that looks exactly like this one & it does have the fan inside on the right side. The fan was a little noisy so maybe they just improved the model.

Technically yes, but not enough to a degree where it matters.
I wonder if it matters in such a small unit.
Yes. Forced air is always going to be better.
See air "fryers". They typically have very powerful fans which does lead to faster cooking.
My air oven is like 30% faster than my full sized convection oven simply due to air movement.

In the technical sense of the word, no. Heat does cause a convection current.
But in the culinary sense, it absolutely needs a fan. Your cooking results are going to be VASTLY different with and without a fan.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.
