[Amazon.ca] OOS - MSI B450-A Pro Max Ryzen Motherboard - $109 (- 20x/5x Airmiles)

Decent ATX board for the price. Should be 3000 ready out of the box.

Tier C, according to this: https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/10 ... 70-update/
MSI: X570 Gaming Pro Carbon, !X470 Gaming Pro Carbon, !B450 Gaming Pro Carbon, Tomahawk (& Max), Gaming Plus ATX (& Max), A Pro (& Max), Mortar (& Max), Gaming Plus mATX, Bazooka Plus, Gaming Plus ITX, X370 M7 ACK, XPower Titanium
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... =611478281

Was waiting for the Pro Carbon to come back, but this is a great price, too.

I actually managed to get it for $109 earlier. Then later on I got msi x470 gaming plus for $129(same situation, only 1 in stock, then sold out after I placed my order). Now I need to decide which one to keep. I did some research and it seems that they have pretty much the same VRMs. I don't plan to OC my CPU(it's a ryzen 3600 btw). But I did notice that x470 mobos are more expensive than b450 mobos. As a newbie building my first computer I'm really confused now. Anyone can give some suggestions? Thanks.

If you don't plan to get a second gpu to sli or crossfire, get the b450.
