[Amazon.ca] OPOLAR 5000mAh Rechargeable Clip On Fan - $29.99 (25% off)

I'm in the market for a small portable fan to take camping. I've gone through several pages in Amazon and carefully selected the best options. When I was just about to pull the trigger on another fan, this one came up. For the price, no other fan offers the specs that this one does. It seems to have good reviews as well, but I can't personally vouch for it.

I like it because it has:
- A clip
- 5000mAh rechargeable lithium ion battery that can last between 6 - 20 hours, plenty for a full night of sleep.
- Fast charge capability

The only thing I can't see is whether it can rotate 360 degrees or not, but it looks like it can.

Seems like a solid deal, considering many small fans are around the same price point with much lower battery capacity (2000-3000mAh), and some without any rechargeable battery feature at all!

EDIT: Seems like the seller changed the price to $29.99 no sale for the blue fan. Yellow still shows 25% discount. Same price either way.

Looking at the advertisement carefully, I am mostly certain this can rotate 360 degrees (is it 720 degrees technically?). On separate pictures you can see the orientation of the fan vary where its clamped, meaning it can rotate at the base.

FYI, I choose a different method when I was truck camping across the USA.
I bought a usb power fan from home depot for about 15$, then attached to an existing power bank.

Yeah, I plan on bringing a power bank as well. The added capacity in the fan is a bonus for longer camping trips :) Never had a little fan like this, so I hope they are powerful enough - I'm sure they will.

hate to burst your bubble but every one of those is photoshopped heavily lol. I wouldn't be surprised if they mirror flipped the image either.

Hehe, hope not. Guess we will find out! Worse come to worse, Amazon's A-Z Guarantee is a major reason I buy there instead of AliExpress directly, hasslefree returns.

Or get this one and plug in with a power band.
I was considering the same, but for $20 extra I can easily get a 10,000mAh powerbank that gives me a more versatile use and an additional 5,000mAh (15K total vs 10k total).

Receives mine today. I can confirm it does spin in every directly you want. Build seems solid. Only thing that would ruin it is if the battery doesnt live up to what its supposed to be. Comes with 18 month warranty though.

Kind of hard to describe, but in my opinion it is fairly quiet. It isn't as powerful as I would like it to be/expected it to be, but my expectations also stem from using a full sized fan everyday.... So just be mindful of your expectation. I'll see if I can record a video of the noise.

edit: nvm.. didn't know video needed to be url. sorry.

I ordered 2 of these for my kids for the stroller, they get hot very easily. They’re not loud in my opinion and they’re the perfect strength for our needs.

Thanks OP!

Ordered two the other night set for delivery on the 26th. Hoping they are decent for when I'm able to road trip again (I tend to sleep in the car at rest stops), or where a larger regular fan would be a pain. Biggest concern is over the battery and the the power of the motor.
