There is a clickable coupon for $40 right on the product page (labelled "Click and Save").

Ditto.

To clear that out I've called ORALB, their answer was model 7000 is eligible to the $20 rebate, seems like the rebate form was printed before the 7000 model was even on the market...

SO YES $20 LESS! :) an even better deal.

There were reviews saying that there is really no extra value over a 1000 pro. Many agreed the best bang for the buck is the 1000 series.

I inquired about this when I bought the 7000 toothbrush from Shoppers in December, Oral B told me it should apply so I sent it in and I received the rebate for it. The rebate did not make or break the deal for me, so it was an added bonus that I received it.

I picked one up. Price is up a little. Showing 179 now but still a great price when you take the $60 off...

Ditto. Thats why i dont trust rebates anymore other than those who have online rebate processing/tracking like pc components.
