Good price per piece. Probably a good set for someone moving out on their own for the first time/first time home owner.

Personally, not a fan of the nylon utensils... but they'll do the job.

Not a bad price at all, but too many plastic utensils for me.

I can't vouch for it's effectiveness but the can opener design looks good - large handle and not much in the way of nooks and crannies to catch food. The metal collar on the whisk might though, especially if you submerge it say in the sink.

From the photo it's difficult to tell how large the shoulder is on the part sticking out the bottom of the tongs which keeps them "closed" but it looks sufficient. There's a slightly better photo on the product page. Quality tongs have a longer piece there, which means bumping it won't cause them to explode open in your drawer or whatever.

Similarly to how some people turn their hangers around to get rid of old clothing, if you buy this set I recommend keeping it all off to the side somewhere, and only storing utensils nearly one by one as you actually use them. If you some of the scoops or mashers or whatever are never used, no sense having them clutter up your working area.
I have the can opener. it's solid.
