How's the weight on these? The shoulder straps look a touch on the thin side...both in width and depth.

Got one , Thanks OP. At over $150 usually it's not that great... but at $60 why not :)

The bag itself is fairly light in my opinion. I agree, the shoulder straps are on the thin side for a 45L.

I bought this bag in 2017 with a friends employee discount at Sportchek. I backpacked through Europe with it for 2 months.

I had it filled to the limit, which is pretty close to the 45L claim but it may feel a bit smaller than that. Main compartment opens up like a suitcase. The zippers for both the main compartment and the laptop compartment slide into each other and then further slide into a clip which can be secured with a lock. Material is apparently rip proof so it is very secure.

To those who mentioned the straps, yes they are slightly uncomfortable. I can tolerate them for about an hour or two before they start to bother me, but realistically I only walked with the bag for max 1 hour at a time. Bag is definitely worth the price, no question.

Good price, and good pack if you need the security features. Not the most comfortable based on what I've read, compared to some other hiking/travel packs.
