He tests RAM up to 3600Mhz and 3800Mhz (but readily admits that 3733Mhz CL17 would likely be the best performer). The point is nonetheless made that up to 3733Mhz CL17, you're seeing incremental improvement. Fast RAM up to 3733Mhz CL17 is best for gamers at 144Hz or 240Hz, where games are more CPU bottlenecked.

Other benches have found deltas of 10% or more in fps between bog standard 3200Mhz CL16 and 3733Mhz CL17. This scales and can lead to as much as a 15 to 25fps boost at a 144 and 240fps target respectively.

Hynix CJR (C-die) which this kit uses can run 3200 CL14, 3733 CL16 and 4000 CL17 (Intel only) all with command rate 1T. This is probably one of the cheapest kits that is most likely to achieve all three of those clocks and timings.

OOS but flipped to the second shipment.

Accepting orders for July 31st, delivered by August 6th.

You have perhaps an hour or two before full stock out of all future orders and 'currently unavailable' status.

Pair that Ryzen you ordered/have with the RAM it deserves.

I have this ram and a 3000 CL 16 kit which I overclocked to 3200 CL 16. I tested in a few games at 1440p 155hz and there is a 2-3 fps improvement at this resolution at best in most games going from 3200 to 3733 CL16. It's a great kit but don't bother upgrading if you have something decent already and you game at 1440p or higher.

RAM speeds make more of an impact for lower res gaming and/or higher refresh rates (120/144). 2560x1440 or higher with effects turned up, the impact will be negligible at best.

H110 only supported 2133 memory as I remember (look up your motherboard on official website to confirm), so this memory will work only at its base timings.
You are paying for speed intel CPUs do not need (latency > speed).

Good buy if your going to upgrade to Ryzen soon, otherwise buy 16GB for less than $100 (example:G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2400MHz CL15, for $89), the kit will work at the same base timings

Correct, although even at 1080p the difference in most games seems to be 5-7 fps with a similar setup, not that big of a deal if you game with g-sync/freesync between 110-140 fps, it's not felt. My benchmarks were on 155Hz, added to post.

This has been verified on BAPC. The 120/144/240 gamers take note, this is where you'll squeeze up to an extra 10%+. In certain non-gaming applications this extra performance could amount to 15%+ (RAM-intensive computation).

RFD is not BAPC, the ho humming here tends to give quick buyers time to lock in while others meditate on the purchase.

Officially fully OOS... for now.

BAPC seems to be "ho humming" a bit too.

They're ignoring the fact that sticker freqs and timings can be improved upon with these OP sticks... and that these sticks are only a modest premium over bog standard 3200Mhz CL16.

Ok here comes a really dumb and stupid question from me @@...what is "BAPC"?
Broker a Personal Contract.

Service resellers: IT, Programming, Contracting (Construction), Design, etc.

Pretty useful.
