I'm trying to find reasons not to buy this. The only one I can come up with is that they're not widely reviewed?

I'm a bit confused by the description to be honest. The one posted by the OP states that the 3600 kit was tested at 3733.... Typo?

16GB DDR4 3733Mhz: https://www.amazon.ca/Patriot-Viper-373 ... 07N43CYMS/

This is a buy for the Ryzen 3000 series. But let's exhaust all options before confirming a purchase.

Looks like the 3600 link has the wrong desc, from the 3733 kit. The amazon . com version of that listing shows the right speed with the same timings (3600 at 17-19-19-39).

Ordered 2 kits of the 3600 last night, they sent me one kit of 3400 and one kit of 3600. Back they go.

This actually works out great since now I can pick up 32GB of the 3733.

Should I stick non-RGB ram into my new O11-Dynamic? How shameful
RGB are the bell bottoms of the rig building world. Let's move confidently into the 2020s without it.

You can buy 32GB of the above and OC it to 2933 or 3200.
Not bad. The G.Skill Trident Z 16gb 3200mhz is selling for around the same price. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B01MTDEYH ... EEQB&psc=1

I guess I might as well just grab 32gb worth?

Question... Have you read this article? It seems to indicate issues with running 4 DIMMs at 3200mhz? Is this something specific to this ASRock board? Or Zen 2 in general?

If you're headed to Ryzen 3000, you should be alright on a 500 series board.

The 2000 series chips and boards may not be that friendly to XMP overclocking, I myself have had issues. Getting a quality board seems to make a difference.

I bought the XPG 3200 Mhz CAS 16 18 18 16 GB kit that was posted on RFD for $139.99 plus 7 dollars HST in March.

How much faster would the 3600 Mhz and 3733 Mhz kits be?

I pulled the trigger way too soon on my RAM purchase obviously . . .

I am seeing that you have to OC the heck out of this RAM to get it to those speeds.

It depends. Sythentic gaming benches seem to prefer low latency to higher RAM speed up to a point. Your timings are probably a little better.

What do you think of this kit?

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/offer-listing/ ... dition=all

Warehouse deal seems like a good deal for $186.

Think I'll regret going with 3000mhz?

Side note: what the heck are RAM accessories??

It's a pretty good price, even open box used.

You could probably overclock it to 3200Mhz if you're getting a Ryzen 3000 build.
