I bought this a few years ago and used it maybe once a month over 2 years and charged it as needed. It doesnt hold a charge for more than a few mins now. Not sure why its so highly rated.

Your battery probably got toasted, if u registered it with Philip, it should still have warranty

My question too. Wonder if this has better battery because my older battery went bad quickly too

I assume the older 2040 with the charging stand? The old one had battery problems, not sure about the new.

I have the Multigroom 7000 that was on sale during Black Friday. Maybe not as good at taming the jungle (though I haven't tried),but I'm guessing I don't need this.

For those that do though, go nuts!
