[Amazon.ca] Philips Hairclipper Series 7000, HC7650/14 - $50.75

Amazon has the Philips Hairclipper Series 7000, HC7650/14 for $50.75, about $20 less than Walmart.
Caveat is that while It is now order-able, it only goes in-stock June 1.

Reviews for it are favourable, on RFD (it seems) and elsewhere.

Note: Walmart also has it in-stock, but at $70.

Better deal than the Costco 3000 series I'm guessing?

This has a lithium battery and more length settings.

Looks like the range is 1 to 28mm? That seems like a small range.

I have the older version HC7450/80 version and it's amazing. Still going strong after 5 years and weekly/bi-weekly hair/beard trimmings.

Definitely recommended.

ordered the HC3520 from Costco for $45 the other day. Worth getting this one instead?

Yes, much better battery (Li-ion vs Ni-NH), turbo mode for thicker hair, 5 mm longer range of length, smaller size of steps (1 mm vs 2 mm

Thanks for your input, I was about to buy the Phillips but will change my mind and get the Wahl Elite Pro corded instead. Been currently using my dogs Andis clippers for Covid cuts LOL

Not all those reviews relate to this product (some, e.g., to the 3000 series). Many seem to be written before this one came out?

Damn, missed this. Do you have the link to walmart's page? I can't seem to find it there.

Having owned 4 trimmers from RFD, it's really hard to come by a comb that's 28mm long cut

Upvoted as this is a good price. Philips must be starting to ship these out again to retailers. Walmart online has them ($70) and my local WM store is now showing a few in stock as well. I almost clicked the buy button this morning but then I realized how many clippers and trimmers I've accumulated. I have 6 in total, between corded and cordless clippers and multi-trimmers.

I'm trying to find one that does both hair and beard trimming equally well but so far I haven't found one yet, they're either great as hair clippers or beard trimmers, never both. I have a $100 cordless wahl aqua groomer coming from Costco next week, it was a total impulse buy, we'll see if it's any good. This is a sickness :/

Sort of on off note, anyone else having problem with Walmart website where I can't search for items in stock or even purchase an available item?

No issues here. I was able to find and add it to my cart and go through the checkout process but I canceled at the end as I didn't want it. On a sidenote: I'd be careful ordering from WM, in another thread a few posted that WM isn't taking any reruns so if you end up wanting to return it if it's defective or for whatever reason, you may be stuck with it. Personally I'd wait till Amazon or LD gets it back in stock.
