[Amazon.ca] Philips Hairclipper Series 7000 HC7650/14 *back in stock* $60

Not the lowest ever but back in stock on Amazon.ca and other retailers:

- Best Buy ($65) will ship on a later date
- Walmart ($70)

YMMV:
While ordering this, Amazon offered me a 30-day free Prime as well --

I bought a similar Philips Hairclipper from Costco for ~ $55, it works pretty well, but just 1 thing of note.

It adjusts the length in increment of 2mm, not 1mm. So you can adjust it to 5mm, but the next shorter length is 3mm not 4mm. Having that finer control will help in blending between different layers. If you compare this to a Wahl clipper, they adjust in increments of 1 mm with different guards, and even has a lever for half-step

For that reason my wife has got a Wahl to replace the Philips, even though the Wahl is wired and Philips is wireless. Personally I think the Philips works well, but she's the one cutting my hair and she feels the Wahl is better ... so that's all that matters.

The Wahl clipper requires oiling the blade every now and then, the Philips doesn't.

I got one from Shoppers at clearance for $40, and 20,000 optimum points for spending $60 or more, yesterday. Lots of good reviews on youtube.

No rush for this. It'll go down in price more.

I wish Costco would of had this in stock, but they only had the Wahl one. I would have preferred a wireless one, and I heard this one you can run water through it to wash.

How are these to compared any idea? posted by OP and this one?
https://www.amazon.ca/Multigroom-Access ... 830&sr=8-4
i believe the consensus is if you're cutting just hair, OP's does a better job. the multigroom comes with a hair clipping attachment, and aside from hair it does beard and others well.

if you're looking into the multigroom 7000, difference between costco and walmart (amazon) is one additional year of warranty, and can be used while plug in for the costco version. costco regular price is $49.99.
