[Amazon.ca] Philips Shaver Series 9000 - S9531/27 - $199.99, $100 OFF

I'm in the hunt for a new shaver and came across this. Seems like a good deal. Thoughts?

Don’t know much about this particular model (I use a lower end model) but the price has been lower over the past few months (CCC shows $169 back in June).

Yeah it has been cheaper in the past. I have this and it works well for me. I prefer rotary shavers over foil shavers as a general rule
RFD is not just about saving money, it's about the thrill of the hunt and getting the stuff I want without paying full price like Joe Shmoe did.
This applies to everyday items as well as high end items that I don't really need.

Less than $70

I'd like to borrow your time machine to save that $30! Mine is dead, and time machine repairman can't come home because of COVID, and I have no pick up truck to bring it at his shop

Just pointing out that it has been recently lower given this is the Hot Deals forum. If we really wanted to use a time machine, I think it was even cheaper >1 year ago, but I didn’t want to go there.

I went this route (electric shaver, though granted, not a rotary) for several years due to sensitive skin but I found the maintenance / cost of consumables to be a PITA, plus it didn't shave as well as a manual razor. Switched to wet shaving a few years ago and haven't looked back - wish I had taken the plunge much sooner.
