252769 KIRKLAND SIGNATURE WHOLE CASHEWS 1.13 KG retails in store for $19.99

Costco: $17.69/kg
Amazon, With 15% off S&S: $16.65

Pre-tax, this deal wins for convenience and slightly cheaper price. I do see amazon charges tax in Ontario.. not sure about Costco

I’m in for 5 for the additional 5% discount anyway

After the sales at Loblaws stores over the holidays I get personalized offers for them @ $2.99. Last one I received was 2 weeks ago but I still have 4 containers in the pantry. Of course YMMV but if you have a Loblaws nearby and shop some of the deals they may come back up in subsequent weeks as local store offers.

Thanks OP. Seems Deluxe Mix Nuts are also on the same price. I’ve got that one.

Thanks for this. I hope this has changed otherwise I won’t be buying cashews anymore.

What if this was their only source of income?

It would work if they proper training and equipment. From what I saw in video shows human slavery.

Again you can’t expect much some countries where it’s taken advantage off. It’s not like canada and Europe where human rights are being violated or it gets brought up in public view.

Food Basics has Trophy brand for 3.49 until Wednesday. It was on sale for 2.99 one or two weeks ago. Not sure if Planter one is better quality. Can't taste the difference myself.

I believe I have seen $2.99 for 200g sales at Loblaws and Giant Tiger in the last few months.

The loblaws one was a PC optimum members sale. The giant tiger was for some sort of Trophy brand cashews.

probably need to check the amount of peanuts to see if they are indeed better value, but good price nevertheless

I like costco mix, they don't add peanuts, and mostly because they add macadamia, but can't beat this as 16/kg buying 5 and S&S. :D

I have been buying the Costco Mix too. The Planters is not suppose to have Peanuts according to the description and only 40% Cashews. Costco has more cashews. That is why I think Planters is a better value
