[Amazon.ca] Power Tower Multi-Function Workout Dip Station for Home Gym $138 after coupon and promotion code

Original price is $209.99 but often goes on sale. Currently has a $30 coupon (must tick coupon box) as well as a promotion code (enter XCEI7HAF at checkout) for an additional 20% off, bringing it to $138 all in.

The reviews are good and theres even some video reviews of people using it, looks sturdy. Also see it regularly posted on here whenever it is on sale.

Had this for about 3 months, use it pretty much daily. Other than slightly squeaky it works great. Think I got it for 130. Great buy.

Do you find it tippy at all? A couple of the online reviews mention that it can be a little unstable at times.

I think he wants to know where you find the coupon codes, not where to enter it on Amazon. Is there an email list or a facebook group?

I have it in my garage. Parts on a carpet and parts on the cement floor. I guess if you don't assemble it properly (which takes some time) or you kip when you dip or do chinups then probably. I've probably done close to 5000 chinups on it and other than squeaky no other issues. Dip arms are strong and use them pretty much even day as well. Can't speak to the ab pad as I rarely use it.

I also use this daily. The arm pad and back pad foam is taking a beating. The upholstery is fine, but the flatting of foam is becoming apparent.

The price was $120 when I got it, and using reward points, it was free. But it could be better.

Doing dips are fine, but I'm wary to do weighted dips on it.

The coupon is usually provided right in the listing:
20% off with promo code XCEI7HAF.
Save 20% each on Qualifying items offered by Magic Fit Direct when you purchase 1 or more. Enter code XCEI7HAF at checkout. Here's how (restrictions apply)

I'm pretty split on buying that, I started basic weight lifting (dumb bells) a month ago after a year of weight loss ( 70lbs+) and regular cardio (indoor biking and treadmill).

I despise going to the gym and do it all at home, but I also have limited place in my condo.

In your experience, would this device maximize efficiency in a small footage for upper and core body strength? Or should I go some other route.

Thanks for your opinions!

EDIT: based on the amazon reviews Ill pass on this one.

Only thing I dont like about these cheapie pullup/dip stations is that they are shaky as hell. If you dont have very strict form you will definitely shake around. Yes strict form will intensify the workout but it gets harder when you get tired. When doing dips I felt it was so shaky that I was going to injure myself! We placed an unused punching bag on the back of the stand to weigh it down so it's less shaky. I haven't bought this one specifically so buyer beware.

You can save more money by doing dips on your kitchen counter if they meet at a 90 degree angle Face With Tears Of Joy, works for me

I just constructed mine and it is incredibly stable. The dip handles may wiggle a LITTLE bit but nonetheless sturdy if you assemble everything correctly. Another con is that the dip handles are a bit far apart, so if you don't have wide shoulders then I don't recommend you dip on this (shoulder injuries are not worth it)

Honest 9/10 machine
