I dont think its the max-q but from a quick glance it seems like its the mobile RTX2070

I was looking at that one too this morning but came across this one. I ended up picking this one up, for a 2070 and a 10th gen cpu it seemed really good for a bit more. I'm just a bit weary with Acer laptops. I used to work in tech servicing and defintely got a good amount of Acers coming in. I've always used Asus' so hopefully MSI will be ok.

yes. For your needs rtx 2070 is better and the cpu is newer 10th gen.

2070 seems to offer 10-20% better frame rates than 2060 in gaming. CPU on this one (MSI) is marginally better.

i dont know any laptop that has good thermals.. seems like every single laptop out there have thermal issues.

agreed, except maybe the 2k+ ones like alienware. The popular ones like Asus TUF and Dell G15 all have thermal issues
