Which model? Different models use different voltages and have different power requirements. Why do you need a switch for that? POE injector may be sufficient. Don't they come with one?

Why didn't you click on your own link? It says it needs 802.3at PoE+. This switch is only 802.3af PoE. So, no, it won't work for you. It will work for UAP-AC-PRO but it's not "in-wall".

Need a deal on a 5 port Poe switch, the prices seems to be stagnant around $50.
Koodo - $35/5GB
Zoomer - $40/6GB
Telus - 2x $40/25GB

After some reading, this POE switch may allow the IW to fire up and be a wifi AP but not allow you to use the pass through ports, that requires POE+. All in all, not worth the trouble it can cause. Try to find a second hand unifi POE+ switch (like the US-8-150W), so much better, it is more expensive but worth every penny.

Some devices (like some AP) do require PoE+. They will often power up and work with PoE only, but will disable some features (radios), etc... due to lack of enough power.

This is a nice however if you don't need PoE+.

The OP switch - yes. AFAIK all TP-Link Easy Smart switches have this issue.
