Does it work through thick cases? So far my Samsung was heating up fairly bad with wireless charging devices. #Notegate

i think the better question would be if it would work with samsung phones in general, samsung phones are notoriously picky about which wireless charger will work with it

In general these style 'provide your own supply' wireless pads will work most times with the correct usb input. Samsung is all about Qi chargers, my s7 came with one that puts 18W out. That charger seems to charge most things best according to my kill-a-watt and on screen charging rates. I have a generic chinese fast charge usbc pad that was around same price. Usbc has a ton of output but these like 9V2A its right in the listing.

My dollarama ones work fine with my latest iPhones. Powered by a QC 2.0 charger though

These aren't universal are they? I have a Redmi note 5 pro, anyone tried wireless charging with that device?
