I like the price but its just too useless. Is it worth buying a marginally functional product tho? It doesnt even allow you to change the attachment head into anything else like a whisk or something.

I'm thinking similarly. Good price, but the reviews aren't exactly glowing... Having a hard time deciding whether to pull the trigger or not.

Isn't that how immersion blenders are typically?

Fair enough but when I looked, it's not everywhere. Many reputable brands like All Clad (although they're known for their pans), some KitchenAid and Oster don't have it either. It seems like a new trend for immersion blenders. I've never seen those attachments before.

It seems like a neat idea, and perhaps over time the immersion blender could replace the hand mixer and the mower powerful blender. I wonder if that has an immersion blender motor in it

This got me thinking in terms of the mechanical action of a whisk. I don't think adding a whisk to something that spins is going to accomplish what a whisk is traditionally used for.
The spinning is just going to fling the product to the side whereas a whisk usually makes contact with most of the product you're whisking.
I haven't tested this since I don't own a spinning whisk but I'm not sure it'd be that useful.

A chopper? Sure. I have one for mine. It's fine. I do garlic in it.
But this is $10. For $10 blending is good enough.
Do you not have anything else to do rather than argue with strangers on the internet
Nope. That's why I'm on the internet arguing with strangers. If I had anything better to do I'd probably be doing it.

I have a breville all-in-one with lots of attachments, but find them not very practical (although the immersion blender itself is good). For example, the whisk is quite weak and flimsy. I can only use it to whip up 100mL of cream. Anything more, I'd need to use a stand mixer or hand mixer. The manual says not to use it continuously for more than 1minute, otherwise the motor can overheat and get damaged.

I'd admit I didnt know they are that useless! I thought they could replace the hand mixer!

yea, no way it can replace the hand mixer. The last/only time I used the whisk attachment out of the 8 years I've had it was to make some cream cheese/whipped cream topping for 2 servings of green tea (when it was trendy). Probably works for dalgona coffee too. But meringue would be impossible. A stable meringue requires at least 6-8 minutes of continuous whipping.
