[Amazon.ca] Quality Street 725g tub $11.99

Just stumbled upon this deal. It is for the larger tub & at $11.99 I have not seen it cheaper. I usually get them while in the UK @ 4.50GBP/tub (around $7.50) so imported quality street for $11.99 is not bad at all.

Is there a difference between the quality street we get local and the imported one?

The chocolate is very different. No comparison between what comes from the U.K. and what you will call garbage from north america once you try it.

My understanding was that all instances of this product are imported from the UK. Does this mean there are some that are made somewhere else, but are packaged and look exactly the same, and that's what you would normally find in Canadian supermarkets?

How much does shoppers sell it for when it's on sale? Just saw it last weekend but can't remember the price.

It’s on sale next week at Maxi for $16, same size 725g.

Price aside I couldn’t find anything online confirming that the UK one is made different or that there is a different taste, I’m ordering 100% if someone can find something that confirms this.

I'm from the UK. I've eaten this chocolate annually for several decades in the UK and I have a tub on my kitchen counter from amazon right now. It tastes the same.

Chocolate from the UK is so much better. I remember I bought Dairy Milk during my time in London and it was a lot better than what North Americans get. Think it was more creamy?

Back home in the 80s, we called it Mackintosh as they used to make it. It's not the same "quality" made by Nestle now. Too sweet.
But still my fav chocolate :)

It was $10.99 per 725g tub at Shoppers Drug Mart (Ontario at least) on Nov 21-22.

It was $9.99 at Sobeys (Ontario) for Black Friday (Friday-Sunday)

The Sobeys flyer ends today, but this special was Friday to Sunday only, so it's done already.

Thanks OP!

According to CCC, it's cheapest around the first week of Dec each year, so I was holding out to see what would happen this year.

Sure enough, there's a price drop today, so time to click the buy now button at $10.47
