I have been watching cheap RC cars for the last couple years on Amazon. This model has been on sale in the past for as low as $136 during the holidays. Its $99.99 at the moment which i think might be an ATL for this model.
Yes i know these are not super high end like ARRMA and Traxxis but decent and better than would you will find at Walmart or Toys R us. Good to give to kids or adults when the weather improves in the spring and summer for some outdoor fun. Its ready to run out of the box. 2 batteries and an extra shell, oil filled shocks. It should be hobby grade so parts shouldn't be to hard to replace.

... It's a lot closer to 1/16 scale. Also, it looks like a brushed motor so it should be on the lower end of the performance... but for the price it's maybe not too bad....
