[Amazon Canada] RAVPower 26800mAh USB-C PD Power Bank - $78.99

Shows as $83.99, but click the $5 coupon on the page and it’ll be $78.99.

This has USB-C charging and PD, in addition to regular USB ports, so pretty future proofed. Not sure why people keep posting overpriced Anker power banks as deals.

Edit: There’s also the same power bank without USB C for $61.99: https://www.amazon.ca/Battery-Charger-R ... 012S6IHQC/

The competing Anker product also includes the PD Wall Charger which costs $37.99 on its own and also includes a carrying case and a micro-usb cable (and USB-C cable but so does the RavPower).

So apples to apples, they are priced similarly - $149.99 for the Anker with the additional wall charger, travel case and micro-usb cable vs. the $78.99 RavPower (+ $37.99 charger, + $15 case + $5 cable = approx $137)

What travel case? You mean the slightly padded pouch? It’s also included with the RAVPower (and I wouldn’t pay $15 for it). Most people aren’t going to pay $5 for a micro-USB cable that they have a bundle of at this point.

Maybe the charger is the only thing worth buying, and that’s a big if (I use my MacBook Pro charger to charge the Power Bank, most people probably have a PD power brick from their phone/tablet/laptop if they want a PD charger).

I personally don't think this is a great price unless you need it right away. It's been as low as $63 and $50 according to camelx3. Also the equivalent anker has been on sale including the usb c pd charger included for $105 a few times in the past few months.

I don't think it's a "Hot" price, but it's better than all the other Anker "deals" that have been posted the last 2 days.

Bought this for 60 bucks over a year ago. It works as advertised. Charges my macbook pro and switch completely fine. Don't see why anyone should pay more for anker's stuff

Any powerful chargers that are smaller and fit nicely in pockets. Can't stand the big bulky ones that are bigger than phones.

Bad deal

The power bank is fine or great depending on your needs but I got it for around $50 Black Friday last year. In the spirit of RFD that makes this a pretty cold deal even if you want to factor in inflation.
