I guess this plus Stadia or GeForceNow on phone, would be an alternative to the Gabe Gear.

One option.

I don't play much on mobile. Which games would be worth it to buy one of these?

Same price for the Android one at Best Buy: https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/ra ... d/14676825

It's $100 for the iOS one.

I guess a new version is coming out soon? Kinda wish these supported the folding phones. I think I'll wait for Backbone to make an Android version of their grips whenever that happens

It would be really useful for Game Pass or if you play games on an emulator. Or even if you stream games from your console to your phone.

Does the Android version support gamepads yet? Last time I tried, it didn't work though I switched to playing on my iPad instead

It does not. Well, it technically can work, but you have to go through a few hoops. So, it's not officially supported on CoD Mobile.

What are the hoops? I know they say that you have to pair Xbox one controller first , any other way?

Emulators are really good with physical controls. I have Chinese telescoping one and DS games were pretty on them while on flights. Haven't used it in over a year tho haha

This is just more compact/portable I guess.

Makes it feel like a regular handheld console, unlike the clips.

controller + clip is probably more useful/valuable though since you can use that controller with other things.

It worked when I was polaying 1-2 months ago.. The model I have is the xbox version though so I am not sure about the normal kishi.

Smaller foot print and it's lighter because it will be powered by the phone so no batteries needed. It has passthrough charging so you can still charge your phone while connected. It also gives you a switch like experience. No bluetooth though so no wireless gaming.

Think outside the box, it's not just for mobile games. Emulation, cloud gaming, home streaming. All fair game.
