Personally, I don't mind seeing comments with past deals on the same product. History is important to gauge whether a deal is good or not. As long as it's done respectfully, and not "this other once in a lifetime deal was better, so your deal suck" type posts.

Same can be said with "that's an old deal. go find me a time machine".

Funny how I didn't see it that way, and look at it more like @Dhanushan was posting a public service announcement.

With the RFD "Buy Now Think Later" mentality, it's nice to know if this was actually a great deal or not, even though the previous deal was quite a while ago!
