[Amazon.ca] Ring Stick Up Cam Battery HD security camera - $99.99

Ring Stick up cam battery and Ring stick up cam plugin are on sale at Amazon for $99.99. Great little cam for people already into the Ring eco system, I have the plugin version and just picked up the battery version. ATL according to CCC, but I think it hit this price with coupons before.

Can the stick up battery cam be used outdoors and exposed to rain/snow/elements? Is it worth going with the spotlight vs the stick up?

Dont know the difference but this seems like a great price at 189 …the clearance at costco was 250 each
There is also a new “pro” version now that’s available for more $$

I have the stick up over my garage and it’s performed great over the winter and elements

Wish I could get a decent deal on the Elite. When I got my house I thought I was so clever putting in a couple of PoE wires for cameras but not when I looked at the prices of these cameras.

I have one spotlight cam in my house. I have noticed this battery operated camera is slow to load live view compared to my floodlight cam and doorbell pro. I have installed solar panel to constantly charge it. This price is very good but I would recommend this with power cord otherwise you will keep charging battery every few weeks unless use solar panel.

I believe they are designed to be put outdoors in the elements. I have mine outside overlooking the walkway and driveway.

I find this a bit surprising, especially since you have yours indoors? I have the Ring Spotlight cam battery for outdoors, and it lasts 4-6 months.. in the harsh winter, it lasted maybe 2-3 months? Maybe the battery needs to be replaced?

I have setup spotlight camera in my backyard. First I installed it with one battery in February and had to go out of country for one month. The battery died within one month before we came back. Then I bought second battery and solar panel to keep both batteries charged. Now no issues, solar panel keeps both batteries charged all the time. The battery may be lasting long for you because your camera is indoors.

My camera is outdoors.. this is the one I have: https://www.amazon.ca/Ring-Spotlight-Ba ... 0758L64L9/

I'm in Montreal, and the winters are super cold.. strange that yours didn't make it past 1 month.

Are these 4k or 8k at this crazy price, or people just lost it?

You could grab a POE to USB adapter and use a much cheaper camera (e.g. Wyze)

You could click the link and know immediately, instead of trying, and failing, to be clever in comments.
