Ordered, have had a Canadian Tire hammer for years, time for an upgrade. Tearing down a shed this weekend so will put it to the test.

Thanks OP. Handtools is the category where you don't want to cheap out on. Go for quality, or you'll end up getting frustrated and/or injured, eventually throwing the cheap tool in the trash then buy the expensive tool you should've bought in the first place.

Haha! Same here... i got a really crappy 20oz mastercraft... that's had the rubber handle glued on, but it's lasted over 18yrs I think. Honestly pretty much any hammer last a lifetime, lol.

That said that is a sweet looking hammer... might just have to spoil myself.

I’ve had this exact one for 15 years and it’s been well used. It looks beat up but performs like new every time. If you need a hammer - you won’t regret this.

Edit - sale price seems to be over.

Which is why Amazon is selling it for that price ;)

Great hammer. I have an E16C that I inherited from my FIL 40 years ago. Granted, it's never been used professionally, only for household projects, but still it's indestructible.

Love estwing hammers for their ruggedness. Not the most ergonomic or user friendly (there really is no shock absorption).
But basically indestructable. Just don't mash your thumb under the 28oz waffle face. :)

Honestly if I didn't have like 3-4 hammers all passed down through the last 5+ decades I would jump on this, I just can't add more hammers for the hell of it lol. Like if one of my hammers ever died there's 3 more to take its place.
