[Amazon.ca] Rowenta SteamForce Iron $99.99

Very good iron, usually ~$150. It's the wire cutters upgrade pick. Also available from Costco online for the same price https://www.costco.ca/Rowenta-SteamForc ... 00493.html

It's also the lowest price ever according to CCC.

I got the Rowenta pro steam station from costco roadshow @$220 or so coupla years back. I dont know if this is similar but if it is, then it should work great. My steam station pumps up major steam & made my ironing much easier & more importantly faster (I'd say I saved appro 1/2 the time). Areas I gotta run it a few times with my old regular iron takes on a quick run with the steam station. Infact I only need to run one side for shirt sleeves & dress pants.

Be warned, a good deal of 1* reviews of this failing after a few months to a year. Not much recourse other than getting it repaired for almost the cost of a new one or just buying a new one.

Great deal for this iron.
Got it more than 2 years ago for 137 on a lightning sale...
There are plenty of features to love this iron... Fast heating, Plenty of steam, etc...
Con: because it produces so much steam it dries out pretty fast, but expected

Uhhh... I was looking for the wireless version. I hate having a cord bothering me all the time...

Should I get this one?

PS: if the rowenta ironer fails within a year and I buy it from Costco, I’m sure I can return this. Can someone confirm? Costco has incredible return policy

Good deal. I bought this iron on a Amazon deal of the day in July 2018 for the same price.

How’s the cord? For $100, wouldn’t you rather get a wireless one?

I personally don't use it much, but I haven't heard my wife complain. Never really looked at cordless models. Since this is a heating appliance, I don't think cordless would be very practical unless only doing a quick job. But I could be wrong and I'm not very educated on steam irons. I bought this one because I was looking for the "best" at the time.

I’m uneducated too :p and not very technical, hence why I’m asking. I really appreciate your feedback. But your reasoning makes sense.

Criticism of its durability and Rowenta’s support are pushing me away. Any one tried the Chi professional iron?

Costco has same price. Wouldn’t be better at Costco since you can return if it becomes defective.

Does Costco still return products if it’s over 2+ years?

Thanks OP.
I purchased it, given it's historical lowest price according to 3xcamel.

Did you have to use an ironing board? I got the same one as well from costco and i swear the rep wasn't using one. But whenever I use it I do such a shitty job.

Been using this iron for a few years. I love it. So much power. It takes me about 3 mins to iron a dress shirt.
I use it with the Rowenta wide iron board

I purchased the same ironing board from the bay while it was on sale and with a promo code.

Can't say 100% but I do believe the roadshow rep did have a small on-table type ironing board. Anyhoos I didn't get the official Rowenta ironing board cos it was large coin. I'm just using a cheapie board & it seems to work just fine. FWIW I've never tried to use it like a handheld steamer though it does seem to have the juice.

Only fly in the ointment is that it tends to leak some water on the shirts occasionally but then, its a shirt so no harm done.

oh, if you have really hard water, you should use this with distilled or softened water. The hard water makes this iron not work that well.
