I have the first gen and use them at the gym for weight training with no problem. Never had a problem, haven't tried doing any cardio with them, but I'm pretty sure they'll be fine as well.

Got these from the Telus store when they were $160 a few weeks ago. They work great with an iPhone and I highly recommend them as an alternative to AirPods. Sound quality is great and connection has been stable. For reference, I owned the Jabra Elite 65T before these and the sound quality is very similar.

Edit: if you want the black color, you can possibly get these for $140 by price matching at Staples and adding the $10 off $75 coupon or using a $10 off coupon for signing up to their mailing list.

I wore mine when it was raining, no issues. Mind you not the heavy downpour, just a light rain

They are not water resistant. They are IPX2 rated which is drip at an angle.

Any video latency issues? My beef with wireless is video lag.

They all have latency issues. If you're using YouTube or some like like Netflix the software will account for it.

I have the jaybird Run right now and they have legit 1-2 second delay watching videos making them unbearably horrible.

If you are uusing a Samsung phone, the lag is non existent. I also have a set of APTx headphones it is very similar.

Can I ask what the microphone experience is like, comparatively on both the Buds+ and 65t?

Also, any issues with slippage or popping out with either of them?

Definitely not true there is still lag, few hundred milliseconds. It is minor but if you are a crazy person like myself even those little things will be a bit annoying. Not really a fault of the buds though every wireless headphone has a delay it's just how it all works.

How does this compare with the AirPods? Are any of them water resistant?

i need a decent bluetooth device, but 150 is a bit on higher side for me....is there something in the middle that is good enough ( i only need it for calls, no music no videos....or similar need). Good enough means - has a decent battery life and kills a bit of ambient noise (all cheap ones i have tried they pick a lot of unnecessary noise like walking/a bit of wind etc). And anyway i keep loosing them, so 150 is a lot....any recommendations would be appreciated.

otherwise i would buy these as GIFT for myself LOL :)

The mic is better on the Buds+ from my experience, but not up there with the AirPods. I’d say the Buds+ mic is about 85% as good as the AirPods. Noise cancelling and ambient sounds are better reduced on AirPods.
