Those are sold by a third party and Samsung is unlikely to honour the warranty if you have any issues. The buds are also available at Bestbuy for a lower price with guaranteed warranty if you're okay with Open-Box items. The links are below:

Battery life isn't as good as the Lives but they don't fall out quite as much due to the ear tips. Lives are a bit more comfy but really rely on a good fit. The ANC is actually useful on the Pros vs the Lives. Microphone quality is great.

I have my long touch hold to switch between ambient sound medium and off. I only use ANC Medium when it's quite noisy. Ambient sound is great for hearing your own voice during phone/video calls.

New feature is you cam double tap on the edge of the earbud to adjust volume. (Left for down, right for up) This allows for the long press to switch between audio modes. Single regular tap to play/pause, double tap to skip to next track and triple to go back.

At this price range, isn't it better to get Sony XM3?

Wondering if XM4 will go on sale during black friday

Pro is good, but we've had the comparably good 75t for less than $100 CAD. I have one pair in my office and they are the bees' knees.

Stay blessed, gents.

In-ear ANC earbuds serve a different purpose imo. The Galaxy Buds Pro are more convenient because of their size.

Whoops, I blame sony's naming schemes for this confusion ahaha...

I've had the XM3's before, and even though the XM4 supposedly fixes some of the fit and comfort issues, I think YMMV for the Sony's. I find that they're bulkier, and not as comfortable as Samsung's Galaxy Buds (I had the plus model). I tried using the XM3 earbuds on a flight, but they got uncomfortable after a few hours.

I also have the Samsung plus model and is looking for noise cancellation earbuds. All the review seem to say sony is superior in terms of sound quality. Not sure if Samsung Pro is comparable...

Amazon.ca had them for $180 around the same time as the Buds Plus sale. I would wait again for that price direct from Amazon.

I myself am waiting for the new LG Wireless headphones Tone Free FP9. (I'm an LG Fan and the Gold will match my LG V60)
Another cool feature of the FP9 is its acting as a wireless audio dongle - simply plug the case into a console or a laptop/PC and enjoy the low-latency sound.

Ah so tempted, what is the downside of ordering from a third party seller?

could be counterfeit, used and repackaged, reselling customer returns/defective, item not delivered/mining your personal information to sell to spam bots and the list goes on

It's fulfilled by Amazon. Amazon takes care of any customer service and returns. Nothing to be worried about in this case.

Don't expect these to have warranty or can be repaired by Samsung Canada if something is wrong with it. They'll tell you to talk to the country that manufactured the device to set up a repair with them. I ordered these a few weeks back and got the UAE version and been thinking of returning it.

With that said, the Buds Pro are on sale at Best Buy, Samsung, and The Source for $220 for the black and $200 for the violet and silver colour. Perkopolis makes it cheaper and those will have Canadian warranty.

Idk if I should pay the extra $40 for that warranty or use that towards the next versions.
