Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro $199 ($90 off)

190 via perkopolis now, chances are it will be cheaper in feb when everyone can use their voucher from galaxy unpack just like in September. People brought this at 90.

I have these headphones. They are good. However, some people had ear infections due to some metal (nickel, I think) used in the charging connectors coming in direct contact with the skin. If you google it, you'll come across threads where people reported their unfortunate experiences. Granted, it's a small chance but just something to be aware of. When my ears started to get irritated I didn't think it was the earbuds at first. Took me a while to figure it out.

I didn't believe it first but I just couldn't wear these for More than 20 minutes. Severe itching & scratchy feeling, had to return them even though the NC was better than jabra 85t

Same here about 15-20min in. Thought it was sweat or whatever. I went back to my older set.

Got these for $90 with a free wireless charger back at unpacked 2022. Ice cold at $190.

Just price-matched with best buy and got the refund.

On their own, it was for sale at $189 and than $100 voucher applied on top to make it $89 for the combo deal with free charger.

Unpacked is just around the corner, and we will find soon enough if Samsung continues their tradition of sending out $100 promo codes.

If they do, then I'd recommend not buying just yet. I got these last year for $89.

I paid full price for these and I love them. Very comfortable, sound great and battery life is awesome.

Hmm I got the bud2 pro in August with for $90 with the $100 off. There was a better deal in September with a free charger as well? Did people just hold their $100 voucher and the better deal just happened in September? Or did you guys/girls know about it coming beforehand? All my friends are iPhone, so fairly reliant on rfd community for Samsung deals.

It was a pre order special that coincided with the Fold4/Flip4 launch so it was part of the unpacked event where people got those $100 off $150 coupons. It was $189 with a free wireless charger before any coupons.

I thing the Buds Live are better for comfort.

Ah thanks for the clarification. I didn't get a fold or flip. Just got the $100 coupon from the galaxy watch and buds live debacle in the summer.

These Buds came out in August 2022 so I don’t know how you could have gotten them from Unpacked 2022 which was in February 2022. Maybe you got the original Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro and not the Galaxy Buds Pro2.

There was an unpacked in August 2022 and another in December 2022. The August event coincided with the Buds Pro2 and Z launches. The December one was just some lame TV sales.

I think there was another code that gave the buds Pro2 for free with a Flip4/Fold4 purchase. The $100 off codes were given to anyone who signed up beforehand, which is why this thread is so popular despite there being no guarantees.

Looking to buy my first pair of earbuds in order to listen to music at the gym and make business calls hands free -- what exactly make the Apple Airpods or these Galaxy Buds so much better than a cheaper alternative?

I was leaning towards something like the JBL Tune 215TWS True Wireless Earbud Headphones ($60 on Amazon) or SoundPEATS True Wireless Earbuds 5.0 Bluetooth Wireless Earphones ($57) but would spend more if it's really worth it.

I imagine the main three qualifiers are sound quality, mic quality, and battery life? Anything I'm missing?
