Not a deal at all. Same price on the Samsung Canada site.

If you use Perkopolis, etc., you can get it cheaper directly from Samsung.

The S20 FE is a decent phone but in many ways it seemed like a downgrade to the S10/S10+ given the lower battery life and less RAM.

Personally, waiting for S21 to drop to this price range... maybe later this year?

I'm wondering how the price drop on the S21 compares to all the incentives that are offered on release date (via Perkopolis, trade-ins, etc). If it's not as much, I'm wondering if I should just wait a few more months for the S22

Rumor is that the S21 FE will launch sometime in October

FE has bigger screen, better selfie camera, bigger battery.

S20 has higher resolution, better main cameras, and is much lighter.

FE is cheaper as well, so you're looking for which features you want with the phone. If you're going with FE, make sure to get the 5G version as that comes with the snapdragon chip instead of the Exynos one.

Did they ever truly fix the touchscreen issues with this thing?

Last I checked, not 100% but I own this phone and have had zero issues. I do recall reading that it was more apparent while playing games which I don't do so for basic usage you likely won't even notice anything.

More like same time next year IMHO. Let's hope you won't be saying the same for the S22 then🤣

If you can wait until October or so, you can get the S21 FE for possibly cheaper + with additional gifts, maybe similar to this
Overconsumption = Extinction
