[Amazon.ca] Samsung Note 10 with 256GB unlocked. $599

I didn't see this posted but came across it while I was looking for a new phone. I'm not hip and cool anymore and I know this phone is a couple of years old but thought I would post it as it seems like a good deal. Then again I could be wrong....

I have a note 9 currently going on 3 years and wondering if it's even worth getting the 10?

A few differences off the top of my head:

Note 9:
✓ Higher resolution screen
✓ MicroSD slot
✓ Audio jack
✓ Bigger battery

Note 10:
✓ Faster processor
✓ Faster internal storage
✓ Better camera

Personally, I would consider the Note 10 to be a downgrade. I probably wouldn't notice the difference in processor speed, storage speed and camera performance; but I would definitely notice the absence of an audio jack and microSD slot.

I've got a Note 9, and I'm probably gonna stick with it for another few years. I really think it was one of the last, best flagships released by samsung

I love the note 10 plus, got it on fido clearance few months back and paying like 25$ /month + taxes , big screen, fast processor and amazing storage, 256 gb internal + 512gb microsd card. Good for the holy blessed videos, if you know what I mean Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Fellas, check out the Note 10 Plus if you're already looking at this model. The build quality is seriously good with this phone. If you come across one new at this price, it's a good deal.

Note 9 user here. Save your money. Note 10 is missing the micro sd card slot and battery is 3,500 mAh vs 4,000 mAh battery in the note 9. The note 10 has 2gb more ram but oneUI runs fine on the note 9 with 6gb(assuming you have the 6gb version, I do and it runs fine).

You would be paying all that money for a phone with a whole bunch of trades off that in the end doesn't justify the cost.

Tough call.

This isn't a great deal, but Biden Inflation and Supply Shortages are burning through North America.

This doesn't bode well for the Christmas season.

We'll see.

You forgot fully remappable separate bixby button as a pro for the note 9. I can't imagine using a phone without an extra button now.

No official Android 12 for the Note 9 though. Some people want to run the latest OS.

I mean, BF hasn't really been amazing for quite a few years, regardless.

By this logic, just wait till BD.

True.
IIRC, back in March, the Note 10+ was on sale at BB for $699.99 with free wireless charging pad.

$450 would be a better price. The SD855 is pretty outdated

Still got my note 3 with lineageOS. Runs fine, clash of clan daily. What a lasting beast. Will prolly upgrade to a pixel 6 if camera is worth it. Pen is overrated.
