As per OP this is now shipping from Amazon at a later date but it's also available at not only The Source, but at Lowes as well for $79.99 shipping the next day.
Thanks to you and @Wrocky for the heads up. I've added links to Lowes to the main post as well as links to the v3 sensors that are on sale at Amazon.ca.

Picked one up at Lowes for $79.99
I ordered online with$10.00 off $50.00 email signup. Total $79.00 with free parcel shipping in GTA. I have a Wink Wink V1,which is quite slow. This seems like a great upgrade

+1 for the Xiaomi sensors, as none have dropped off on my setup either.

Which Xiaomi sensors are you guys using? Any reputable retailers with link please?

The Samsung Smart Button is also on sale at lowes for $19.99.

Thanks a lot, never purchased anything from them before. How is the delivery time frame?
Also, how do I order for the lower price? They are asking to create a group buy..
LITB ships via ePacket and I generally receive them within 3 weeks (but now a days with CP, who knows).
I'm not sure how the group buy work, as that was the first link that popped up Disappointed But Relieved Face

How is the Smarth Things Link? I am buying a Nvidia Shield and also need a Smart Things Hub. Debating between the Smart Things Link or the actual hub, leaning towards the hub because I can't find much information on the link. Doesn't look like the Link is natively supported in Canada but not sure if that matters.
i wouldnt recommend it in canada. its *ok*, and i guess worth $10 usd but i wouldnt pay full price for it. I'm only a light user, (controlling a couple of door locks as a backup ) but i was disappointed that i had to side-load the app to get it working, disappointed again when i found that it couldnt do some things the v2 could (like zigbee updates), and again disappointed when i wasted a bunch of time trying to get xiaomi sensors to work only to find there were many with the same issues as me.

I'm using it on my Shield and it works great in Canada, especially for the basic needs you describe. You don't need to sideload the app, just create a US google play account and log in on the shield (you can have multiple accounts on one device) and voila, you've got the app.

There is a "buy alone" box next to the group buy box if you can't find someone to group buy with. Price is $14.09 for buying alone.

check out Konnect if you currently have a hard-wired alarm system.
The Konnect is a terrible device. It is basically an ESP8266 / Arduino kit that monitors your alarm sensors and reports it status. You’re better off investing the same $100 on an Envisalink. It does basically the same thing plus allows you to actually control the alarm. The Konnect doesn’t give you any alarm controls

Can you not just use a Samsung phone as a Hub with the Smart Things App? Sorry I'm technically challenged so I'm not sure if I need this.

+1 for Envisalink ... have one at home and one for the company and can't imagine life without it.
