Reason: changed link, original one had a non-rfd affiliate tag and added price to title

Looks like a good color accurate monitor for content creators, great find!

Freesysnc for those who do some light gaming on the side

The 297 panel appears to not support HDCP 2.2 but other one does.

So far all the monitors that use the 2020 Innolux 28” 4K 60Hz 90% DCI-P3 4ms panel

Samsung U28R550
Samsung U28E850R
ASUS VG289Q
Acer VG280K
Acer CB282K <---- I bought this one from the latest sale at Bestbuy for @369
Lenovo L28u-30
Lenovo ThinkVision S28u-10

You can probably find all these monitors around the same sale price but the overall package will be different
- Lenovo L28u-30 doesn't have speakers, no freesync, less inputs, etc.
- This Samsung doesn't have tilt or height adjustment, has PIP, but no speakers, and a non standard VESA mount

Don't buy the Samsung U28E590D

EDIT: removed Samsung U28E850R
EDIT 2: Bestbuy sale price was $369 not $379 (was as low as $349 a month ago)

FYI - Research I did on this panel has people saying it has issues with G-Sync compatibility working properly.

Any of those height adjustable? Recommended? Thanks for the detailed post.

One big factor is if you use a vesa mount; most are 75mm and 100mm metal brackets you use. This will only take 75mm so the only way to get 100mm bracket to work is with bushings and longer screws or bending current plates or finding a 75mm bracket which I could not find.

I was going to get this but on fence now because of this.

Question is, is it better than the panel in the LG 27UK and 27UL series. It's a much newer panel so I'm hopeful but there just aren't many reviews of monitors using it.

I got the Asus VG289Q from Best Buy, over all the panel is good and colours are really vibrant, it's the just that the colour red is very prevalent in this panel. I tried multiple profiles and setting, but to no avail, the colour red is just too overwhelming. Anything red just pops too much and you can never set is right without affecting the overall image quality.

This has some good reviews. Perhaps you just got a bad panel?
