[Amazon.ca] SanDisk 2TB Ultra 3D NAND SATA III 2.5" SSD - $249.99

Been looking for a 2TB replacement for my creaky old HDD and saw this drop to 250. Considering current conditions and weak CAD, seems like a decent deal.

3C all time low, matching 2019 Black Friday pricing (US$179.99). Better than the QLC options in this price range (860qvo/BX500).

Wow that fast huh lol.

Checked it out, thought it looked like a really good deal. Thought twice because it is not so cheap even though. Took a shower, now it's gone lol.

It's because these deals are posted on reddit before being posted here

Indeed. This thread feels like a time warp.

Are folks forgetting about the cheap Intel 660p 2TB NVMe SSDs?

When the days blend together during shutdown, we sometimes forget what's hot and what's not.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.

The Intel was $259.99 if I'm not mistaken and it's QLC.

As an alternative, maybe people can consider the SU800 2TB from ADATA. it has 1600TB TBW (datasheet) compare to the 2TB Ultra only rated at 500TB.

It is $279.99 (all in) : https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B07GBRG2G8/

The Sandisk 2TB Ultra @ $250 would come to $280-ish as well.
