[Amazon.ca] SanDisk 32GB 2-Pack Ultra microSDHC UHS-I Memory Card (2x32GB) - $12.73

2 pack of 32GB Sandisk microsd cards
Class rating: C10, U1, A1
ATL = All Time Low

Seems like there's quite a few sales on Sandisk microsd cards. Dunno about them being ATL but worth a look:

Plan to use them in my Wyze cameras

Amazon used to have a pretty big problem with selling fake memory cards since they mix inventories of sellers in their warehouse, so even if you buy from a legit seller, you can still get a counterfeit one. Is this still the case?

I was not aware that Amazon mixes stock with 3rd party sellers.

I have not bought very many microsd cards from Amazon but the ones I bought are doing fine.

The complaints have died down, but just check it when you receive it. If it's jank, return it. Such is the Amazonian life.

Physically is there a way to know fake or real?Or a test? I ended up purchasing these over the weekend. 2 sets of them to use in my dash cam and Wyzes. They were $18 initially when I was about to purchase and seen it drop to $12 and no brainer.

I would just run speed tests on it and see if it comes close to online review speeds (as advertised speeds can be off by a decent amount sometimes, especially with low end cards like these).

Don't trust Fakespot. I used to sell on Amazon and we had zero fake reviews and it still showed that we did. I have no skin in the game anymore (sold business) and no reason to lie.

Only way is to check is via RMA attempt. I think they have an online serial checker now that WD own them. Last I checked via email (2012 orso) they said the serial was invalid. The card came from ebay. The card looked official and worked as described right up until it died. Lasted around 8 months in a samsung galaxy cell. I assume they were failed QC or ghost run cards, side by side ebay knock off to official same model of same speed and size, the only noticable difference was the way the serial was etched on the back. 0 chance I would ever suspect it, aside from 2 cards with matching serials in my hand. Remember this was a decade ago nearly counterfeits only got better.

Seems like most reviews that report fakes were in 2018.

They ran speed tests and error checking tests....seems like fakes were either super slow or had tons of errors.

These are not high endurance. They will probably die in your cams as fast as fakes.

Where I bought my dashcam from, BlackBoxMyCar. They actually endorse that these Ultras are the only ones aside from the Thinkware branded ones they would recommend for their dash cams and that it works.

Prior to these, I had a Adata one that lasted I think 5 years then finally crapped out and wouldn't re-format anymore.

Would this be any good in my Moto G Fast for some extra storage or is it too slow?

5 years ago MLC or maybe even SLC memory cells were used that are supposedly used now in high endurance cards. TLC or QLC used now in regular cards won't survive so many rewrites. Let us know how long these cards last for you.

Will be fine for that, only have to worry for 4k video like in GoPro or if fast write speed is needed. In that case go for Extreme.
