$145.49 CAD

ATL is $139.99

Solid performer, with SSD-like fetch performance and HDD-like sequential reads.

Arguably on-par or better than some eMMC solutions.

Why this thread?

This thread is two-parts FYI, one part decent deal.

More than a few of us are looking for decent microSD solutions that aren't horrifically slow, and don't require us to mangle hardware and void warranty to install proper internal storage devices.

Remember that Nintendo successfully convinced developers to port AAA titles to the Switch with optimizations for running from a microSD. The faster the microSD, the easier this proves.

Solutions like this one open the door to a happy, easier, middle ground.

Yes, there is a 1TB solution, but it's less enticing.

God bless, folks.

I would not trust a third party seller for this.
SD card version of Extreme Pro is widely available. But MicroSD version is very rare - they do exist but most large retailers never carried them in US/Canada, e.g. bhphotovideo, bestbuy, etc.
WD does sell them directly and It's the only place I'd trust at the moment.

These products are serialized, I believe you can check with Sandisk to prove authenticity.

The risk is greatly exaggerated, these fake out situations are quite rare nowadays.

It's the Ultra you should avoid as write speed is like 1/4 of Extreme.
If you want extreme, bhphotovideo has 512GB for $84 USD ($105) on a regular basis. It is free shipping over $99.
