I bought the SARB033 from Amazon 2 years ago and needed to service it this year after it stopped running. According to the place I took it, the oil in the movement was lacking/dried out. So I am wondering if the SARB033 was old stock even then. I wouldn't be surprised if the same is needed for a new old stock SARB017 in 2021.

6R15s are produced and used in production, and only as of 2018 they started being used in Seiko prospex line.
