The consensus is slightly less comfortable. Better sound but definitely worse noise cancelling.

This is a sweet deal but I already have the HD555 and RS180, plus my recent purchase of HD650 and NAD HP50 I think I will have to respectfully pass. I could use an ANC wireless for on the go... Kinda wish I didn't buy the NAD.

I would suggest not returning because Amazon tracks the returns, if it is only a $20 difference then just keep them and save the return for a big ticket item in case you need it.

I wouldn't say "slightly" less comfortable. Ive tried both pairs and the Bose are waaaaaaay more comfy. Sound is similar, I'd give the edge to Bose though. Sennheisers are very neutral but become bass heavy and struggle with treble with ANC on.

I think the issue surrounding returns is overblown IMO, but maybe that's just me.

In this price range, I think it is worth considering the Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2. Here is the comparison of the two from rtings

If you are interested in the Backbeat Pro 2, they are $150 at best buy.

Nothing against the Sennheisers - they are tempting value at this price point, but I think I'd go for the Plantronics if forced to choose.

Note: editing the post to show the links correctly (still learning).
