[Amazon.ca] Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones - $369.99

Been tracking this set of headphones for a while. This is the ATL price for these.
I am no longer in the market for a pair of headphones but almost tempted to get a pair anyway ;) great price for a very good pair of headphones.

Based on price history, it looks like ~$470 is where it usually retails.

It looks beautiful, but it seems like its difficult to travel with it with no folding features.
Thanks anyways! Upvoted

You are right. I cant believe Sennheiser doesnt even bother to show a photo of it in the listing!
Not sure if anybody has this set, but would the NC be on-par with QC35 or nothing beats that still?
Are people getting this for better sound, instead of good NC?

A friend at work had these, and the ANC is very good, comparable to QC35.
I personally can't wear QC35, I get a horrible pressure feeling like my ear drums are bursting. The ANC on the Sennheisers don't give me that feeling, while still working like magic, so if you are in it for ANC, it's def not a bad choice.
I just wanted a pair of wireless HiFi cans... I don't like using ANC in general.

Agreed.

Get these for in my opinion, the best sound at this tier, The Build quality and aesthetic.

The Sony and Bose in this Tier have better ANC, but I don’t love the pressure. The ANC is in these is enough for what I want to use it for when I actually use it.

No regrets on this pair and the prior generation as well. I had a minor issue with a loose component with the momentum 2 and sent in for warranty repair and got an upgrade to the 3. Great customer service.

What's your opinion on the m2 vs m3, I have the m2 and have been eyeballing these for awhile.

I have the previous generation model. The ANC is good, not Bose territory but it's still good. The sound quality is much better and I greatly preferred them to the equivalent Sony at the time.

Oh!
Thats REALLY good to hear.

I was one of those lucky ones that scored a pair of HD4.50 for $40 and I have to say the sound is very neutral, which I really appreciate. I dont need floor thumping bass in my ear, however that ANC is a bit weak.
No vacuum/pressure build up, which is a plus. But honestly since it doesnt even eliminate laptop fan noise, the ANC is not that useful.

I will wait for a few year until new technology come out again. By then I'd probably lost the HD4.50 in an airport somewhere Grinning Face With Smiling Eyes

I've got the early Momentum, and they have travelled around the world several times over in the last few years (prior to the pandemic).

The sound on these are great, and they are comfortable and extremely well built. I am tempted to grab these, as my wife has been using my Momentums in the last while....LOL

I think at a sale price yes. Full price no. I loved my M2s first higher end headphones I bought, there was nothing really wrong with them. The M3s improve the user experience by a lot and the sound quality and ANC by a slight amount. Audiophiles might be able to comment on that better.

Large improvements:
Connectivity is better.
ANC is better and has 3 graduated levels.
Fast Charging.

Minor Improvements:
Sound quality. I don't notice much difference but I am not an audiophile.
The leather ear cuffs are slightly firmer. Equally comfortable but I have felt less prone to wear. Feel more durable.
Improved controls.
USB C
Did the old ones have Tile built in? I forget.

Loss?
Battery apparently lasts less but I have never noticed.
Slightly more modern design, less of a retro flare.

Well we're in sale price territory now so that's a recommendation? lol. Anyways, I placed an order knowing Amazon won't actually ship them for a few days (I don't have Prime) and the buy now, think later mentality instilled in me from this site. Face With Tears Of Joy.

The M2's do not have tile support, though tile does feel like a product that's destined to die now that Apple has thrown their hat in the ring, limiting it's usefulness. Lots of reviews do say the SQ is better and that's a big one for me since I can tell my M2's are a step down from my HD6xx. Good to know about all the little things and that's what's pulling me as well. My current play/pause button is basically shot, it's one of my few remaining MicroUSB devices (I think I have a travel mouse that's still microUSB) so that'll be nice, will be much easier to find a charging cable when I need it.
