[Amazon.ca] Shad SH40 Motorcycle Top Case $179.06

Was looking for a top case for my Kawasaki Versys and it was at least $260 at the motorcycle dealerships and on some online retailers. This would fit a full face helmet with room to spare for small stuff. It also has a rack to strap cargo.

Was hoping to get the 45L version but felt the extra 5L wasn't worth $80 - might regret this in the future. Of course, mounting brackets are extra and luckily my moto has one, albeit I need to drill holes on the OEM bracket to fit the plastic mounting plate that comes with the case.

Also, the matching backrest is also available on Amazon for $38.27.

Deals on motorcycle accessories are hard to come by and they can get really expensive.

Upvoted for motorcycle deal. Before you drill onto your OEM rear rack, can you look for an adapter plate?

I've thought of this too but I wouldn't be proud riding with a big Chinese-branded case behind me. I prefer to stick with Shad or Givi. But I'm pretty sure the quality wouldn't be too far from the mainstream brands.

It's another $60+ for the adapter plate. The oem plate already has 4 holes but will not line up with the mounting bracket of the case.
