[Amazon.ca] Shark Robotic Vacuum RV750c ($233.08)

https://www.amazon.ca/Shark-RV750C-Robo ... B07BMRW5SL

Found what I think is a decent deal on a pretty well reviewed robotic vacuum with standard navigation, not sure if this is a repost.

The Shark RV750c is an older model but at $233 I think it’s a steal. Lowest ever according to 3xC

Edit: It’s been at this price since May 14th

Watching YouTube videos for this, it seems like people are obviously shilling for this company with links to buy in the descriptions.

Reading a handful of real reviews (not just google and Amazon ones), it seems like this gets mediocre scores bescause reviewers seem to be looking at this as a mid tier vacuum with the expectation that it will replace a traditional vacuum, they also seem to be comparing it to really expensive vacuums with optical navigation which is why it's faulted for not being precise.

Based on these reviews I feel like this might be a pretty meh vacuum. I bought one as well as some other stuff because I needed to hit minimum spend on a credit card lol.

I have the 700. Same technology without wifi. Comparison chart:
https://www.householdme.com/shark-ion-r ... omparison/

My 2 cents:
-Much quieter than roomba, on both carpets and hard floors. MUCH quieter. Roomba I can hear on 2F from the basement. This I cannot.
-It's the drunken sailor type. The wifi just lets you tell it to run and dock. It doesn't map where the dock is so docking may take a long time.
-Boundaries are controlled with magnetic strips, so depending on where you want to lay boundaries it may look hideous
-It's always climbing over the leg on Ikea POANG, and then it gets stuck because 1 wheel is over the leg while the other can't make it. I tried resolving this with the boundary strips and it's still not great.
-Bin is fairly large capacity
-It's a brush roller, not rubber, so be prepared to clean out hair

Overall, I do recommend this over the cheaper roombas. Obviously it's no comparison to mapping models if that's what you want/need, but that's also a completely different price point.

Just had the vacuum run its first cycle, it pretty decent actually, seems like there's something more to it's navigation than bumping into things randomly, occasionally it will approach an object, slow down and change directions right before it makes contact.

I'm pretty satisfied with it for the money based on this initial run. The ability to schedule is great , I am going to schedule it this to operate at night or while we are out of the house. Did a fair job of cleaning my combination of hardwood floors and the area rugs on them which vary from high to low pile.

It's also pretty quiet.
