[Amazon.ca] Shenmue I & II (PS4) - $19.99 ($15.99 Digital on PS Store)

Amazon has Shenmue 1 and 2 for the PS4 on sale for $19.99, one of the cheapest prices it's been for a physical copy in a long time.

It's also $15.99 on the PlayStation Store: Shenmue

Was that for the two games together or just one? I want to replayed it but not in a rush.

Have you played it? It is the first open world game even before GTA.

I loved the first Shenmue but at the same time acknowledge it is super mundane and weird. I imported the EU Dreamcast version of Shenmue II years ago but never got around to finishing it so I picked up this deal and will one day get to Shenmue III.

Shenmue I is a richly detailed game in which you do nothing and nothing happens, with occasional bursts of a murder mystery and an all-out brawl with a gigantic horde of dudes at the city port. You will either love or hate it. It is pretty dated at this point but Yakuza and Deadly Premonition share some of this game's DNA.

Yakuza series does everything better.

Tempting, but would not play any time soon. Hope it is free on PS+ next year.
